Why we build the demo first

Every software vendor says "trust us." We'd rather show you. A working demo answers the questions a proposal can't: does this actually fit how my team works, and will my people use it?

We can afford to build demos for free because we build fast — the same speed that gets your live system delivered in about 7 days instead of a quarter. If the demo isn't useful, you walk away owing nothing, and we've lost a few days, not a sales cycle.

What happens after you submit

  1. 1

We call you within one business day

A 15-minute call. You show us the spreadsheet, the report, or the process — screen share is perfect. We ask enough to build something real.

  2. 2

    We build the demo

A working demo of your solution, usually within days — not a slide deck, not a mockup. You click around it and show your team.

  3. 3

    You decide

If it's useful: $3,500 flat, and the live version — connected to your real data — ships in about 7 days. If not, no charge and no hard feelings.

  4. 4

    It runs, you own it

First 30 days of support included, then $250/month for hosting, monitoring, fixes, and small changes. Cancel anytime. The system is yours either way.

FAQ

What kinds of things can you build?
Sales team dashboards, lead and quote follow-up alerts, field and dispatch alerts, customer status updates (“tech on the way” texts, live job status), unbilled-work tracking, compliance and expiration tracking (licenses, insurance certs, inspections), automated reporting, and spreadsheet replacements. If your team's data lives in CRMs, spreadsheets, GPS, dispatch, or project tools and something falls through the cracks every week, that's our lane.
Do I need approval from IT or leadership?
Usually not for a First Build — $3,500 sits within most managers' discretionary budget, and we connect to tools you already use rather than replacing anything. When a bigger rollout needs more stakeholders, the working demo does most of the convincing for you.
What does the demo cost if we don't move forward?
Nothing. The demo is free, full stop. You only pay if you want the live system.
What if we need something bigger?
Larger systems get a fixed-price quote before work begins — most land between $10K and $50K on demo-gated milestones. For multi-team or company-wide engagements, the $1,997 Systems Review maps everything worth building first.
Are you local?
Yes — Provident Logic is based in Houston, TX. We work in person with Houston-area teams and remotely where that's easier.
